Ad popups in text

This website is a “free” WordPress blog and in order to keep it that way, WordPress is supported by ads. The ads appear on words in text and their appearance is identical to my links and they are inserted randomly. If you move your mouse over a word and a box pops up, that is an advertisement. When you move your mouse over my links, there is no visual effect and you can click on these to visit references on this blog or external sites that expand on my content.

I noticed some of the same ads are popping up as I view the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post websites! The word “children” (and also Justice Clarence Thomas) displayed a Walmart gift card ad and “million” showed penny stocks ‘made me rich on the New York Times site’.
